We were delighted to welcome a lovely group of Lowlines from Canada today.
They flew in overnight arriving at Heathrow this morning, luckily the terrible storms we experienced last night had eased enough for the flight to arrive ok.
They came off the wagon happily and seemed perfectly unfazed by their long journey.
They immediately began to explore their new field- it will be the first grass they have seen for some time as they have had snow since the end of October where they come from! Thankfully we had some blue skies and sunshine for them to arrive to, though Im unsure how long that will last. Having come from an extremely cold but dry climate they will need to adjust to our decidedly wet one but they have nice thick winter coats.
This group will help us grow our herd and provide some new bloodlines.
