It was a cold frosty start today. Some of the cattle have moved Into the new barn as some of our land was newly seeded this year and we want to protect the new grass over the winter.
the highland surrogates and the rest of the Lowlines are still doing fine outside though – they are getting some hay now.
here they are getting stuck into their hay this morning – it was minus 6 degrees at 7am.
